After the release of the new look several bugs have been fixed on www.spicypage.com, including the layout issues in IE6. Since all our computers have been upgraded to the IE7 we had to set up one special machine only for IE6 check up.
Right now we are working on a couple of updates on spicypage, including the widget issue. As soon as it will be ready for release we will let you all know.

Still in beta, we are proud to introduce you to a new version of Spicypage!
The home page has been updated to the new slick look. In addition an awesome new feature has been introduced enabling sites/blogs authors to submit articles, stories, or news from their personal sites/blogs and share them with the Spicypage community.

We have completed the development of the initial phase of our spell-checker. The spell-checker has been added to the following areas:
- reply message
- send draft
We do support a number of languages already and are constantly adding new languages to create a broader usability. If you are in need for a specific language to be added, please feel free to contact us.

We are proud to announce that we are officially one month and one day old site! It has been a month full of many exciting moments, hard work ;-), and unbelievably awesome community (you) that is growing so rapidly on a daily basis. We love you, guys! Just a reminder that our policy allows for a site to receive votes from the same people every 30 days. So, for those of you who voted for sites 30 days ago, you can vote again for the same sites. You can actually find what sites you can vote for under “History”, inside “Votes”, under the “Able To Vote Again” tab.
By the way, now you can send messages to multiple recipients. So, if you need others to vote for your site/blog, let them know and keep on letting them know every 30 days. Your site/blog might be inside the Most Popular section all the time!

New cool things have been done and updated on Spicypage.
- “Blog this” feature has been released. The feature allows you to publish sites/blogs or articles to your own blog directly from Spicypage. Currently we support only wordpress blogs. But do not worry soon will be released for any other blogs. So “Blog This” feature will support almost all the blogs.
- “Just Launched” section has been completed and opened to the public. As the name implies, this section talks about new online start-ups that have been recently launched. It provides detailed information about the products, services or features of that site/blog which was recently launched or soon to be launched. It also includes New Features that has been recently launched on a site/blog.

We just released a beta version of one of our mudules “STATISTICS“. It creates a graph which shows the STATISTICS of the Total Votes for each day. Now you can see how your sites / blogs are doing on a daily basis in terms of votes per day. The module is currently very limitted, but more is options of the module will be available soon.
Also we added a notifier. The notifier will let you know when you receive a comment on one of your sites/ blogs that you posted or you author. You may change the setting not to receive any messages about that. It can be changed in your settings of your My account section.

Finally our top 100 section is complete. Now you may see the actual ranking number of the sites. We are ranking for now the top 100 sites. On the left there is an image how this looks.

Yesterday and today we have been working to release our one of the wonderfull widgets.
It is live now!!! You might be checking it out already. If not, try it now. Login into your account and under My Profile section you have Widgets for my sites link. There you may specify your widget for a site/blog that you author. Please note that you have to be the author in order to do that. There is a little of customization that you can take avantage of.
But we are not stopping here. Still more is comming… So please check us time to time for our upcoming features and the progress that we are making.
