I have a WordPress.com blog, and am not allowed (as I’m sure you all know ;) ) to use Javascript. Are there any future plans on a widget that WordPress.com users could use? :)

lol I realize this one has just been released, but thought I’d ask anyway.

Or is there a work around that I am not yet aware of?

    Regards, Velvet Hammer

Thanks so much for the message. But a plugin won’t work. I am on the WordPress.com platform, and not WordPress.org

It is not possible to install a plugin. :(
I and other WordPress.com users will need a non-java script code to place into a text widget. That is our only option. WordPress.com does not allow java, it feels it is a security concern. As we all our on the same server, if I understand correctly. There is no use even trying. They strip it out automatically.

    Thanks anyways. :)

Sorry for the inconvenience! We are trying to make the widget to fit wordpress.com requirements.

(Try to put a spicypage button for now. If you will be logged in automatically the button will redirect you to your site profile so people will be able to vote for it.)

As soon we will have a working widget for wordpress we will let you all know.

    (including myspace.com as well)

    Thanks for all your patience.
